In 2015, Alaska had the highest rate of TB in the country.
Though widely thought of a disease of the past, tuberculosis, commonly referred to as TB, remains an epidemic in much of the world, mostly in developing countries.
Take action on World Tuberculosis Day and join us for a four-part short film series to learn about tuberculosis and the global movement to end it. Afterwards, a panel of local public health experts will share the unique challenges Alaska faces and the inspiring work being done to prevent and fight TB at home.
Tickets will be available the day of the event at the box office only.
